Active focus on kindness & empathy
Kindness is taught deliberately and practically. Restorative practice, digital resilience and social emotional learning create secure conditions for risk taking, learning from mistakes and moral reasoning. Teachers prioritise connection before content, enabling pupils to act with compassion and justify their choices with thoughtfulness.
The QED Compass is our unique curriculum overlay that each of our schools will engage with and weaving differently to suit their own school community. It sits on top of all national curriculum and the IB and it shapes the way we live and learn as schools.
